Fleuriste Alexandria Florist Attic Treasures and Flowers has operated in the same location as Alexandria Florist for over 60 years. The store is located in the heart of the downtown area of Alexandria Ontario. Surrounding businesses include La Buvette du Marché, McLeister House Spa, The Glengarry Market, Cedar & Fern, Christine's Family Restaurant, Tom’s Pantry, The North Glengarry Restaurant, La Belle Sorelle Bistro, among others. As the owner of the store I, Andrée Gauthier, bring over 25 years of business experience. I have owned and operated three businesses: a promotional item sales and manufacturing company, an MLM scrapbooking business and a retail clothing business. I have also gained experience in retail as an employee. Fleuriste Alexandria Florist Attic Treasures and Flowers is more than a business to me, it fulfills my passion for creating, whether it is with flowers or repurposing furniture. Recently, my partner Mark joined me in the business full time, working mostly with the upcycling and paint aspect of the business, but don’t be surprised to find him behind the scenes helping with flowers. Together, we look forward to sharing our creative enthusiasm with our growing downtown community. The store serves the Alexandria community and surrounding areas by offering flower sales for special occasions such as: weddings, funerals, Valentine's Day, Christmas, Easter, birthdays and more Downtown Alexandria, with its array of services and amenities, is where people from all over the county come to shop. Conveniently located between Ottawa and Montreal, Alexandria attracts many day-trippers who come by car or train to spend the day in a quiet rural community.
